Create a KWL chart using MS Word about what you know already about the geography of the south, what you would like to know, and what you learned from today's discussion. Print it out and turn it into the basket. Then, play a game on Kids Geography called the "United States of America Map Game" to become familiar with the location of states. Wednesday:
Listen to the podcast linked below at a computer station with headphones and take notes on what you hear about the geography, economy, and culture of the southern states. Friday:
Finish presentations and assign roles for who will speak when. All groups will be presenting at the end of the day.
